About This Spot

Unamano Bar & Cocina welcomes you with the quiet charm of a small, well-loved neighborhood bistro nestled in the heart of Valle de Santa Inés. As you step inside, the pace immediately slows—a gentle respite from the day’s bustle. The atmosphere blends a relaxed Mediterranean ease with hints of North African warmth, creating a space where conversations linger and the kitchen’s rhythm gently hums alongside familiar laughter.

This is a place where the menu feels like a personal invitation to explore flavors shaped by the rich culinary crossroads of the region. The dishes arrive with a comforting familiarity yet invite curiosity—each plate carrying subtle nods to Moroccan and Middle Eastern influences, steeped in local freshness. Whether you're drawn to the delicate spices of a slow-cooked tajine or the satisfying char of grilled seafood, the food here speaks softly but confidently, complementing the intimate setting rather than overwhelming it.

Unamano’s welcoming spirit shines through not only in the food but in the human moments shared across the tables. The team’s kindness and openness make language barriers feel inconsequential, while the carefully curated selection of desserts and a robust cup of Italian-style coffee offer a satisfying close to the experience.

For those traveling solo or in small groups, this modest yet inviting spot feels like finding a pocket of calm and discovery off the beaten path. It’s a place where both the menu and the mood invite you to slow down, savor each bite, and perhaps leave carrying a little warmth with you beyond the door.

We had some grilled cod, vegetarian shakshuka and vegetarian tajine. There wasn't much in terms of vegetarian options so you can ask them to remove the seafood if you don't eat those things. Food was fine, not amazing but the staff were friendly.

Great morrocan food! Not many, but excellent vegetarian options. The grilled cheese (part of the menu of the day) was absolutely amazing, the Unamano Salad too! Vegan Tajine was very authentic as well. And they have good Italian-style coffee and lots of dessert options too! Overall, highly recommended if you're traveling through the area solo or in a small group!

An exceptionally nice small bar & bistro with stunningly high quality local and Middle-Eastern dishes. The chef and bartender are both very-very friendly and kind, always smiling and coping with language difficulties easily. One of the best kitchens in all Fuerteventura at absolutely reasonable prices, the shakshuka with shrimps is unbeliavable, just as the BBQ ribs. Lovely place with lovely people, would return anytime.

Great restaurant, best food we had in Fuerteventura so far. Enjoyed the style, the mood and of course the food and the drinks.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The Unamano salad and baked cheese, followed by the tagine. Absolutely outstanding. Perfect flavours, fresh and well blended. As others have said, there’s not a huge choice, but if that means the quality is as good as what I’ve had then little choice is fine the way it is. Perfect meal, all four of us agreed.

Came here at the beginning of December '25. My friend and I had the entrecote steak, grilled squid, and the baked cheese. I was so surprised to find out the cheese (queso Majorero) is made from goat's milk! Among the best grilled cheeses I've ever had. Super fresh and the wine was the cherry on top. Our friendly waitress served us digestifs (I believe made from a local sugar plant?) that was delicious. Would definitely come back.

Nothing I say adds to the 5 stars. Such a lovely place to experience a bit of the local kitchen with hints of Marocco. We were greeted by the every so friendly waitress who showed us to our table (we didn't have a reservation) and the menu. We opted for the tajine lamb with nuts and prunes. Absolute delight and gorgeous mix of flavour. Dessert didn't disappoint us either. Will defo be back.
